Grant Spotlight
MHS Art Department
We are thrilled to have fulfilled a much needed grant for the Metuchen High School Art Program.
Through this grant, students will now be able to explore the art of digital photography using modern, high quality equipment, software, and hardware.
This teacher driven initiative exemplifies the dedication and commitment to expanding lasting learning opportunities for all students.
This grant contributed to the creation of a Photography elective course!
This grant was able to propel our already strong art program into the 21st century!
Science Fair
Edgar Middle School Future Scientists
The primary objective of the Science Fair is to promote critical thinking and scientific problem solving through hands-on experimentation and observation.
Middle School science fairs are inquiry-based and differ greatly from elementary science fairs.

Student goals include:

Ask a question and form a hypothesis

Design and complete an experiment to test that hypothesis

Make observations, organize data, analyze results and draw conclusions

Write about the scientific research conducted

Create a scientific display board.
This event is always a valuable learning experience for our students and our community.
